11.01.2022 Meet more of our special guests speaking at the Connected Communities event, sponsored by Gen U! https://www.facebook.com/genUtraining 10 am 10:45 am Dr. Tetyana Rocks is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow and Head of Translational and Educational stream at the Food & Mood Centre, IMPACT, Deakin University. As an Accredited Practicing Dietician, Dr Rocks leads many research projects exploring the relationship between diet and mental and gut health, including investigations in...to individuals with eating and post-traumatic stress disorders. During this seminar, Tetyana will discuss the latest evidence linking diet and mental health, talk about the importance of gut microbiota for our mental and brain health, and provide simple strategies to help improve your everyday diet. 2:30 pm 3:30 pm David Pearce is the Founder, Program Director and Moderator of 'On the Low Down'. In this session individuals have an opportunity to express what they are feeling, be heard and support their community by listening in return. All of us can find it difficult to share challenges we experience, but it is important to do so for community wellbeing and our own mental health One of the greatest demonstrations of leadership and strength is to share where we are at, and to be there for others simply by listening. This online event explores some good reasons to be hopeful - because we do have ways through this. Head to https://artoftheminds.org.au/event/connected-communities/ for event page and registrations.
