23.01.2022 Just a quick message to say thank you to you all for your support over these last few months. Our studio will be slowly re-opening over the next few weeks. From THIS Monday, we will be open from Monday to Friday from 3pm-6pm for 2 weeks (until the school holidays). Kids, teen or adult students are welcome to come in at any time during that period to visit, stay to create art, seek help with personal projects or assignments and use the studio resources. I look forward to seeing your lovely faces again over the next few weeks!

05.01.2022 Hello friends! I cant make it to my computer tonight so I thought this week, I would give you all a challenge and a fun (emphasis on the fun ) COMPETITION ! Sydney based Artist Shaan dAnthes (or Furrylittlepeach on Instagram) issued a challenge to draw this artwork in your own style... if you search #flpdrawchallenge on Instagram, you will be able to see hundreds of participants artworks! So! Tonight (or anytime this week) get your pencil and paper out and draw me a cam...ping person with a dinosaur! You might be thinking, but I dont HAVE a style...or I dont know where to start! You absolutely do have a style, however your hand moves is your style, the decisions you make about how big to do the eye or how round or if it has eyelashes is your style! Start with the eyes and work from there, simple shapes are the BEST shapes. Find images of dinosaurs or do some research by watching Jurassic Park (Netflix just added a few of them ). You can draw, paint, colour, ink or digitise your art. Then when you are done, post your picture in the comments below and get your friends, family, neighbours, high school friends you havent seen for over a decade, PT instructor and postman to LIKE your photo BY NEXT SUNDAY NIGHT!!! The artwork with the most likes (official winner announced on Monday) will get a special pack of art supplies from Art 4 Ages!
