25.01.2022 Low Intensity Laser Therapy enhances your bodys natural healing response to help reduce inflammation, decrease pain and fast-track recovery. Low intensity laser therapy can be applied to muscles, nerves, bones or tendons. This type of laser treatment uses low intensity light, which means it doesnt heat or damage cells. i.e. you shouldnt feel anything! For maximum effectiveness it is recommended to have 5 sessions, and also treat any co-morbidities (e.g. underlying injuries... or conditions). Low Intensity Laser Therapy is a great addition to compliment traditional physiotherapy

13.01.2022 To our patients, our partners in health and your families, In 2020, the world is facing one of the biggest challenges in modern medical history, the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. At Artarmon Physio, we take the health and safety of all our clients and staff seriously. As such, we have put a plan in place to manage and minimise the spread of infection to the very best of our ability.... This plan will change as the situation develops and will be updated regularly as new information and procedures evolve. We are accessing information provided by government bodies on a daily basis to guide how we respond to the coronavirus threat and minimise its spread. To assist us in preventing the spread of any potential infection we are asking all clients to do the following: Wash your hands or use hand sanitiser on arrival to the clinic If you cough into your hand or need to blow your nose during your visit, please wash your hands immediately before continuing your session If you have any of the following symptoms shortness of breath, cough, fever AND you been in contact with someone who has travelled from or transited through an area known to be affected by coronavirus, please delay your appointment for 14 days or until you have been cleared by your GP. If you are experiencing any of the above symptoms but you havent travelled or been in contact with someone with coronoravirus or who is suspected of having coronavirus, please contact us to determine if you need to reschedule your appointment. As a company, Artarmon Physio is taking the following steps: We are providing hand sanitiser and/or antibacterial soap for clients to use on arrival at the clinic We will be cleaning and disinfecting equipment regularly throughout each day We will provide new towels as much as possible We will change pillowcases regularly, while continue using paper sheet covers We will disinfect the treatment table between each patient We will display posters for staff and visitors to remind people of good hand hygiene practices We are staying updated of the latest advice from governing bodies on what we need to be doing to prevent and slow the transmission of coronavirus. This may at some point involve a shut down but at this stage, we remain open for business, being vigilant to maintain the highest hygiene standards. Please feel free to contact us at any time to discuss any concerns you may have related to the coronavirus pandemic and attending the studio. We wish all of you and your families the very best during these difficult times and we hope that with all of us playing our part, we can get through the danger period with the minimum amount of sickness possible.
