21.01.2022 'Pattern' 90 X 90 cm canvas. Had this canvas in mind (& partially prepped) for a while now. The gold & bronze background is a favourite & I have used it before for a similar piece that was quite colourful. Wanted to try the idea of black with little pops of silver - just a few simple colours coming together to create this piece. Sometime less really is more. You will see in the video at the end, I changed my mind & finished on silver instead of black. I do that often when... building a piece of artwork - step back have a look & reassess.
