24.01.2022 Hi everyone... I have entered a couple of pieces in the upcoming Petite Exhibition at the Aspire Gallery in Paddington. Pleased to say one will be hung on the wall and the other will be in Aspire's online gallery. They tell me there was over 300 entries again this year. HOOOOORRRAAYYY I made it!! Exhibition dates are 21 Feb to 14 March. If you're in Brisbane around these dates - drop in. (PS I know of 2 paintings which are fabulous and looking for homes.....)

17.01.2022 I entered a couple of paintings in the upcoming Petite Exhibition at the Aspire Gallery in Paddington. I received the following response: .........The shortlisting process for Gallery and Online Finalists was most definitely made harder by the outstanding quality of entries received. Congratulations, your work: Flower #2 Flower #4 has been chosen as a Gallery Finalist. ..........The EXHIBITION DATES... 5 - 27 February 2021 and it is open to the public every Friday & Saturday, 10:30am - 4:30pm. 17.01.2022 Hooooray..... I received the following email from Aspire Gallery. "This year the competition saw over 300 applications and some of the strongest work we have seen submitted across the past five years. We’d like to thank you for your patience as we determined the short-lists for both our Gallery and Online Finalists. This selection process considered a range of general attributes of the work as well as the characteristics important to this show - creativity / innovation, branding and commercial capability." I MADE IT!!! One in the Gallery and one in the online gallery. 16.01.2022 Keep Sunday the 6th December 2020 free and come along to the Victoria Point Christmas Markets at our NEW location on the front lawn of Faith Lutheran College Redlands, Beveridge Road, Thornlands. Starts at 8.30am. I'll be there selling my art and glassware. I'm sure you'll find some great Christmas gift ideas. All locally made. The art works will definitely add some colour to your home or office. All of my glassware is uniquely decorated and all one off pieces which will become a feature item in your home. 16.01.2022 I'm certainly on a mission now. I have just entered a couple of my paintings in an online painting competition in the US: Art Room - Contemporary Online Gallery. Entries close 17.2.19. Time will tell if I make it. Here's hoping (again).

10.01.2022 Hi everyone - I've been successful in being a finalist in the the Rotary Art Spectacular exhibition which will be held in Brisbane from Monday 13th to 17th May. I was told they had received a record number of entries, so to make it in was really great. Anyone in Brisbane can go along to see the art which will be at the Central Plaza Building on the Cnr of Queen and Creek Rd Brisbane. 08.01.2022 Hi everyone! I have just finished a a series of training sessions on social media which was fantastic. (thanks Nicole) . Now I need to extract the digit and apply what I have learnt. One thing is for sure I really hope to get my art out there. I am an abstract artist. I provide art that reflects a sense of fun, creativity and a bit of zing that will make any wall stand out! 05.01.2022 I call this one: "interstellar".....It is on a 91 x 76 cm canvas. I used acrylic paint with a dash of gold leaf. I love the colours in this one. Kind of spaceeeeeeeeeee hey!!!!!!!

05.01.2022 HI Everyone.. I have been doing some work on trying to understand who buys abstract art /paintings. I'm hoping you can help. Who do you think buys abstract art/paintings? What makes them buy? What do they look for when making the decision to buy a painting? I welcome all your thoughts and ideas. Please feel free to send this on to other friends / family. I really want to understand who likes abstract art. What is their age group? is it male or female?? Where do they work? Where do they like hanging out? etc Anything that you think might help me is welcomed. PS: I have included a copy of one of my recent paintings to help get you thinking. THANKS EVERYONE!!!!

04.01.2022 Hi Everyone... I've been busy working on "art on paper" for a number of weeks and will be selling them (hopefully) this weekend at Redfest at Cleveland.
