19.01.2022 Who Cares if the Sea is Rough - Surf Beach, Narooma Oil on canvas 75 x 50cm A local scene from Narooma for my upcoming solo exhibition at the Narooma School of Arts Gallery 10-18 April. It was overcast day in February and with a huge storm building the lifeguards were putting up the beach closed sign but it wasn’t stopping the more keen holidaymakers who were determined to have their day at the beach and had retreated to Little Lake where their children could swim safely. It is a bit of a departure from the perfect day at the beach ones that I usually get asked to paint.

19.01.2022 My latest painting to go on sale at the Kiama Arts Trail Exhibition ( today until next Wednesday at the Old Fire Station Gallery in Kiama). Ready. Set. Surf! Oil on Canvas 900 x 900.

12.01.2022 Nowra - Tharawal Aboriginal word meaning "black cockatoo". Seemed like a good name for my latest painting.

11.01.2022 Morning Walk Oil on canvas 24x36 The final painting for my exhibition in Narooma is ready with 48 hours to spare. When I see a pair a of thongs beside a beach track I know that their owner loves the feeling of the sand between their toes just like I do.

10.01.2022 Dragon’s Lair Oil on canvas 100x75 cm My painting of this brightly coloured weedy sea dragon is the centrepiece. my first solo exhibition The South Coast - Not Just a Beach at Narooma School of Arts Gallery. Weedy sea dragons populate kelp beds along the rocky shorelines of the South Coast but few people even know they exist. ... With just one week until the exhibition starts on the 10th April, the pace is getting hectic around here.

05.01.2022 Diver Dan and Laura. Ready for the Narooma exhibition.

03.01.2022 Liz loved Dragon’s Lair (the big weedy Sea dragon painting I did earlier this year) but It was too big for her wall space so she commissioned a smaller version. No two paintings are ever the same but she looks pretty happy with her version that the postman delivered yesterday. Thank you Elizabeth Howlett. I love a satisfied customer!

02.01.2022 My latest work. The enormous size of a whale shark was hard to capture in 90cm of canvas.
