It captures the opposites of life and death. The forms are curved and suggest the material is around a bodily shape. The tension is clearly visible showing the white thread being tight between the two pieces of woven thread.

22.01.2022 This is me at age 18 painting my second ever mural at the time in my cousins bedroom. I had travelled 2.5hrs by train, ferry and bus and discovered just as I opened the cans of paint I had forgotten to bring any brushes. It was a Sunday and back then all shops were closed on Sundays. I ended up fingerpainting the herd of elephants on the 3.5meter wall. This was my aunties favourite animal and this artwork was in rememberance of her after she has passed away a few months earlier. On my first visit back to the Netherlands in 14 years, 2 years ago, I went down to visit my uncle and cousins. I was very honoured to discover that the mural was still there after 24 years. 18.01.2022 Yesterday I hoster a Drawing Together event in my studio. It was so much fun and thank you so much Nev and Sue for joining me. The drawing was action and processed based and doing it together. Keep an eye as I will be doing more of these kind of workshops. I will also be offering them as teambuilding workshops for schools and businesses.

I am making a large art installation called Shoes on Shoes off as part of my BA of fine art graduation and first solo exhibition. It is about our experiences during lockdown.
