25.01.2022 Arting from afar Week 15 day 6 Prompt is torn. I found myself wondering what my friend Lee Clements would be doing with this prompt. Easy for an artist who never throws anything away, she will have old paper, tape and things she disgusted years ago. Got me thinking I will pay homage to my friend, she gave me a book once so I tore a page of handmade paper from it and created a scene that was simple but bright and cheerful. 14.01.2022 Arting from afar Week 15 done and dusted. This week I found myself getting behind a few days, not because I struggled with the art time but it just seemed to go so fast. I enjoyed my week of prompts , everything kinda clicked and came easy. Wonder what week 16 will bring, new announcements on lockdown rules might bring good news. Lee Clements and Lee Clements Art.

14.01.2022 Arting from afar Week 15 day 7 Prompt is eyes During ISO lockdown I have been watching and learning, my theme was learn something new everyday, been a bit busy someday but I think I have found a new subject I really like. Drawing faces and eyes. Today I have just used a HB tech pencil and sketched a picture of a foxes eyes, the only detail I have added to this simple sketch is what I thought was necessary to show what animal he is. 07.01.2022 Arting from afar Week 16- day 3 Prompt is pen and wash. Where is the week going I am now 2 days behind. Pen and wash was very difficult the wax resist I used in day one is causing me some grief. My underwater scene was hard to wash and them the pen would work. 07.01.2022 Arting from afar Week 16- day 2 Prompt is sparkle Well today I got a little lost in my painting, lost sight of the prompt. O’well tis what it is! 02.01.2022 Footy grand final sketching. Yep as you guessed not interested!

02.01.2022 Arting from afar Week 16- day 4 Prompt is butterflies. I have come to the conclusion that the rosiest issue will be a problem all week with watercolour so I have resorted to using acrylic instead. I used a bottle top, butterfly stamp , hot pink and orange paint to create interest in the back ground , using the negative space added a butterfly shape.
