Listening to Agnes Martin - celebrated abstract painter, reconstructionist and minimalist, talk about the value of an empty mind, happiness and the importance of solitude has hit home to this little artist. When im making im purely in the moment, I dont feel the need to talk to anyone, have company. I lose track of time and its a strange, peaceful feeling.

14.01.2022 Today I added the finishing touches to my Spring Birds painting. This is just a small speed painting vid I made while working on the wing of the second bird. I used Elraldo di Paolo medium weight watercolour paper, Prismacolor and Marco Renoin Fine Art pencils and some watercolour cakes that I picked up while living in Shanghai. Enjoy!

12.01.2022 Its been a while and a lot has been happening. Im pleased to say that my Llama is finally finished! I used a mix of coloured pencil, ink, chalk, charcoal and pen on watercolour paper. Ill be posting a time lapse video of me working on this piece to my YouTube later in the week. I hope everyone had a safe and happy Easter break.
