16.01.2022 What is Endometriosis? Why does it occur and what does it mean for you? Endometriosis is a common condition where cells of the lining of the womb (endometrium) occur elsewhere, most commonly in the pelvis. It is not known why endometriosis occurs. There are a few theories, the most accepted of which is that tissue from the lining of the womb is carried by "backward bleeding" through fallopian tubes into the pelvis. Many women with endometriosis do not have any symptoms, but ...some may be affected with chronic pelvic pain and difficulty falling pregnant. 13.01.2022 Each of us is responsible for keeping our amazing country clean. Keep Australia Beautiful week runs from 24-30 August. "Once again cigarette butts have topped the list of the most commonly littered items in the National Litter Index and in response, Keep Australia Beautiful is calling for a national Butt Free Friday during the annual Keep Australia Beautiful (KAB) Week. It is time for smokers pick up their act. We’re urging smokers to make a conscious effort to ‘Butt It and Bin It’, instead of taking the lazy option of flicking their butts onto the ground." http://kab.org.au/keep-australia-beautiful-week/

11.01.2022 One month old tomorrow! @Artemis Women's Health. Many have asked the meaning of our name...so here goes - Artemis was one of the most widely venerated of Ancient Greek deities. She was the Hellenic Goddess of hunt, childbirth, virginity and protector of young girls. In later Hellenistic times, she even assumed the role of Eileithyia in aiding childbirth. ... She was often depicted as a huntress carrying a bow and arrows, and this is represented in our logo. Attached are some pictures from our gallery. Hoping everyone had a relaxing long weekend. Have a great week ahead!!

Chronic pain is often due to a combination of physical, psychological and social factors and should be managed as a whole. It is National Pain Week 20.07.15- 26.07.15: "Pain...Let's talk about it" http://www.chronicpainaustralia.org.au/
