Her woodcut print ‘Women with Fans’ is thought to be a double portrait of fellow artists Ethel Spowers and Eveline Syme, set against the backdrop of Rushcutters Bay. 10.01.2022 Opening soon: 'Streeton' is the most significant retrospective of Australian impressionist artist Arthur Streeton ever held. It opens to the public at the @artgalleryofnsw next Friday, 7 Nov 2020 but you can take a preview by picking up a copy of the incredible exhibition book this weekend. Beautifully presented, it includes essays by curator Wayne Tunnicliffe alongside over 275 images of Streeton's paintings, plus photographs and rare artists' materials.
