24.01.2022 Hello all and Happy Monday! Well you know what that time is. Time to look back on another fabulous dance journey and that belongs to Helen and John Shi Helen and John started dancing at Arthur Murray Brighton back in 2018, and over the years they together have achieved many great things. Together they worked on their Pre-Bronze standard of dance, with a great sense of passion from Helen and determination by John. They breezed through their dancing and soon found themselves in... their Associate Bronze Standard! WOOOHOOOO. Together they have both participated in MatchComp's, Socials and even Dance O Rama events. They are very hard workers on and off the dance floor. Helen always focusing on the technique of her dancing. John always striving to dance to style! Helen and John are an amazing couple. They are super supportive of each other on and off the dance floor. It is such an honour to see their relationship continue to blossom through every, step, concept and dance. Together coming to group classes multiple times a week. They also have experienced lessons from many of the wonderful Brighton instructors along the way. Their key instructor, Christian, has organised exchange lessons with teacher George, Taylor, Bernie and Ilona. and as a result they have accelerated their learning. GO TEAM! Helen and John had a brief hiatus from dance for personal reasons. But they are back through ZOOM and continue to work towards completing their Bronze 1 in a total of 8 dances. Helen and John are just wonderful and a delight to teach! We absolutely cannot wait to see them back to the studio soon! Stay safe wonderful dancers! From all of us here at Arthur Murray Brighton! 20.01.2022 Hello all! Today we are celebrating another wonderful Arthur Murray Brighton couple Emma and Greg Malham. They began their dance journey back in late 2016 when they came into our studio wanting to learn a bridal routine for their wedding and told us they had just a week to learn. And by all means they did a great job! Emma and Greg are an amazing couple who love their dancing and show it with big smiles and wonderful costumes at the match competitions and local, interstate ...and international Dance O Rama’s. Their passion for dancing bought them back to us in January 2017 to begin their incredible Medal journey. They worked very hard on their Associate Bronze level by putting in the hours, attending lessons many times per week to work on their dance program and routines which took them to Barcelona with our studio in 2017. They reaped the rewards by winning the top couple award, doing our studio proud! Well Done!!!!!! Emma and Greg enjoy performing and have done a variety of showcases from the elegant Waltz to the dynamic Tango and a lively and fun Merengue. This year they had been working on a Viennese Waltz routine and getting prepared for our March event but sadly have not yet due to the COVID disruption. They’ve done their teacher’s Bernie & George proud with their performances whilst working hard and sprinkled with lots and lots of laughter. They are currently working on their Bronze 4 level in 10 dances and getting to reach their goals of becoming beautiful social dancers. Emma and Greg come to dancing as it is a way of relaxing from their busy life’s, and always dance away happy. Also very encouraging to other fellow students and participate in many of our studio events. We cannot wait to see their lovely smiling faces back in the studio.

Sarah and Cliff started dancing at our Arthur Murray Brighton studio back in 2019. Sarah and Cliff brought their passion for dancing originally from Canada and the US where they started their dance life. Cliff used to ice skate competitively, which really does wonders for his leading, ear for music, and selling a performance! Sarah’s craftiness always ha...s them looking sharp. They often use their dancing outside of the studio for school and charity events. A truly amazing partnership, both on and off the dancefloor! They were working on a Cha Cha Showcase performance before the pandemic. They danced it for the teachers and their fellow dance students here at the studio. It was truly a marvel to watch. With guidance from their teacher Taylor, they were able to embody the cheeky side of the dance, whilst demonstrating good leading and following, resulting in a classy style to the dance. We absolutely cannot wait to see you both again soon! Stay very safe Cliff and Sarah, from all of us here at Arthur Murray Brighton
