17.01.2022 Hi everyone, Thanks for liking my new page. My book Drinkin’ Tea, Dunkin’ Biscuits is well under way. It’s genre is creative fiction and I should be completing the first draft in a couple of months. Then serious editing will begin. The book cover art is also in progress. I will be self-publishing at this point. The content covers my family going back into the beginning of the 19th century and journey through a few generations. It covers my many travels and adventures, explori...ng spiritual and psychotherapy issues, and of course relationships and parenting. Something for everyone. I have had, and continue to have, incredible encouragement for this project, and I thank you kindly for your support and your likes In helping me to share this journey with you dear family and friends from wherever or whoever you may be. Love to all. See more
14.01.2022 What questions would you ask a forefather/mother who had re located from Cornwall to London a couple of hundred years ago in Dickensian times?
10.01.2022 What a journey so far. In theory I’m two thirds of the way through the first draft. The virus, not me actually having it, just the pandemic in general, has held me up a little and inspired me to read The Plague by Camus. There are so many interesting parallels, although The Plague is fictitious, the themes focus on ppl’s relationship to imminent or potential death and a whole town/city under quarantine. But here we swing from 5g, to bats, to cruise ships, the Black Swan and ...to idiots like Trump and his evil egoistic agendas and the Deep State. How to make sense of it all? Overload and death. So much grief, so much pain, how can we feel it with just numbers and graphs and get ppl back to work for the capitalistic economy, not for the ppl. However... I’m enjoying the quiet time in Darwin, although life seems to be going on as normal, albeit with a lot of places closed and ppl being aware of physically distancing. I sincerely hope y’all are ok. There’s always light at the end of the tunnel, however we have to face some darkness sometimes. Be brave, stay strong and safe.(a couple of cliches, but who cares..lol). Blessings to all. All things must pass. (another one). See more
