17.01.2022 This is my story about how I become a bicycle mechanic I started when I was 15 years old bloke in town call jack griffin had local bike shop for 32 years I ask him every day for a job kept saying no stay at school to cut story short got kick out off school being stupid I walk past his shop and he saw me ask why I wasn’t at school told him I hated it and all I want to do is to be a bicycle mechanic I think he had enough of me asking him for a job after eight year of working w...ith jack griffin he taught me every thing about bikes even how to read and write properly he was like a father to me I’ve always been honest and trustworthy he taught me that and always found work in the bicycle game being working off and on in bicycle shops for over 30 years it’s sad to see bike shops closings down due to online buying like old jack use to say to me you still need a person to fix them that why I started a small business in my shed doing bicycle repairs I always love working on bicycles was never much of bike rider my self but still love going for causal ride their more to bicycle these days always learning doing courses just still loving it well that’s my story hope yours in joyed reading it See more
