14.01.2022 Spoonville is coming to ACPS! A little village of happy Spoonies are going to be making their home around the ACPS letterbox in term 4 because, after all, spoons dont need to social distance! Take some time over the holidays to decorate your own wooden spoon and put it in the ACPS Spoonville Village when you return to school! Think weather resistant. ... Check Google Classroom and uEducateUs for more details from Elise!

10.01.2022 It’s T-minus 8 days before Spoonville officially opens at ACPS. Get your Spoony ready to move into the ACPS Spoonville village. A couple of tips- Make sure your Spoony decorations are secure (so we can keep our school and surrounds looking beautiful and litter-free)... Make sure your Spoony is weather proof (clear nail polish can help your Spoony maintain celebrity status)

09.01.2022 Great news! We are ahead of where we thought we would be in driving down coronavirus numbers. Thanks to the efforts of all Victorians, today we announced that A...LL primary students in metro Melbourne can return to face-to-face teaching in the week of October 12. This is a wonderful outcome for all primary students, but particularly for Year 6 students in their final year of school. It’s such a milestone year in young people’s lives and I know how much everyone was hoping for a quick return. They can now celebrate their last ever term in primary with their schoolmates and teachers, and look forward to the exciting transition to secondary school. We always said that as soon as we got public health advice, we would return other students to face-to-face teaching. All metro primary students will join special school students and VCE and VCAL students in face to face teaching on site. Schools will make local decisions on what day students return during the week of the 12th. Remote learning continues to play a key role in significantly reducing the movement of people across the state. For that reason, a decision has not yet been made on the return of secondary students in years 7 to 10. As always that will be guided by our health experts and the state’s coronavirus numbers. A massive thank you to all of the school staff, parents and carers, and our students who have played a huge role in making remote learning work. You have all made a big difference to our success as the coronavirus numbers continue to fall.

07.01.2022 Strathewen Primary School has unfortunately had their bike trailer ( full of mountain bikes) stolen from the school either last night or early this morning. Please keep an eye out and let the school or police know if you have any leads.

07.01.2022 It's R U OK?Day, a reminder that every day is a day to start a conversation that could change a life. Today we're calling on Australians to learn what to say af...ter R U OK? so they can keep the conversation going when someone says they're not OK. There's more to say after R U OK? Learn what to say when listening with an open mind Learn what to say when encouraging action Learn what to say when checking in Learn how to continue a conversation that could change a life. When we know what to say next we can help someone open up and find pathways to support long before they're in crisis. Learn what to say next and help us move closer to our vision of a world where we're all connected and are protected from suicide. Head to www.ruok.org.au/how-to-ask

04.01.2022 This year Santa showed us he is all across 2020 by joining us virtually. Our Christmas gifts were very well received by the students. Thank you to Santa and his elves for thinking of us. Wishing all of our staff, students, family and wider community a very happy holidays.

04.01.2022 How lucky we are to have been gifted a brand new cubby made by the students at Whittlesea Secondary College. A huge thanks to Neil B for picking it up for us and placing it into position.
