15.01.2022 Can I please say a huge thank you to the people of Arthurton and surrounding community for an amazingly warm welcome and making my soft opening an rewarding one. Lessons were learnt that will ensure that not only the GRAND opening on Sept. 5th but the future of the Arthurton Hotel is a massive success. I don’t want to be a complete tease and will be opening the doors for a few special pop up events between now and then, starting this Saturday, but I want to thank everyone who attended last night and look forward to seeing you on the 5th. 10.01.2022 GRAND OPENING PLANNED FOR SATURDAY 5 SEPT HAS BEEN POSTPONED I have to advise that despite every conceivable effort to the contrary the Grand Opening we were all looking forward to on Saturday has to be postponed. Personally I am absolutely gutted and extremely disappointed this has to occur; it isn’t just the loss of revenue, a lot of thought, time and effort has been invested in this event by a number of people. Arthurton and the surrounding community responded with such ...genuine excitement and the warmest welcome anyone could hope for at the ‘soft opening’ and the sense of anticipation in the build-up to this Saturday seemed to grow daily it felt like the town was excited at getting its regular watering hole back. While I didn’t expect it all to run like clockwork, I did believe all 3 parties involved in the sale had the same ultimate goal to see the Arty re-open and return to his former glory. Yesterday afternoon I was informed that inexplicably and without consultation 1 party made a personal decision that has thrown the entire process into chaos and the outcome up in the air. Please believe that I am committed to pushing ahead, with the help of a great legal team we are attempting to find the quickest and cleanest path forward but sadly it won’t be tomorrow or even this Saturday rest assured The Arthurton Hotel WILL OPEN and we want to make it happen ASAP. I’d love to say by the end of September but, hey if it can be sooner it will be sooner! I deeply appreciate everyones patience and understanding with this. This has nothing to do with the soft opening or me winning Powerball a week ago, obviously I can’t go into too much detail while the legalities are being negotiated but keep an eye on the FB page as I will keep it updated regularly. 06.01.2022 The hits keep coming. Tomorrow night we will have a mobile food van parked right outside the front door. They will be offering Nachos , Burritos , Steak sandwiches , Hamburgers and Egg and Bacon sandwiches Setting up from 4pm and staying for the long haul.
