23.01.2022 According to the final chapter of the Book of Deuteronomy, Moses ascended Mount Nebo to view the Land of Canaan, which God had said he would not enter; he died in Moab. According to Christian tradition, Moses was buried on the mountain, although his place of burial is not specified (Deuteronomy 34:6).
19.01.2022 Don’t Be a Showoff: Helping others is something God wants you to dobut He also wants you to do it for the right reasons. Giving money to a homeless man because... you think someone is watching, or serving food at a soup kitchen so you can brag to your friendsis not what God has in mind. Jesus makes it very clear that when you help othersyou do so with humility and without expecting anything in return. The Bible says in Matthew 6:1-4, Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. When you unselfishly reach out to someone in need, you are putting God’s love in action! And it doesn’t matter that others noticeit only matters that God does. Above all, He knows your heart and He knows whether or not your motives are pure. Hebrews 6:10 says, God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. And in Proverbs 19:17, we’re told, Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done. More important than any earthly reward or gainis your heavenly reward. So, share God’s love to others for the right reasons, and . . . don’t be a showoff! 12.01.2022 Mark 15:16-21 Down the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem that day The soldiers tried to clear the narrow street But the crowd pressed in to see The Man condemned to die on Calvary... He was bleeding from a beating, there were stripes upon His back And He wore a crown of thorns upon His head And He bore with every step The scorn of those who cried out for His death Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King, But He chose to walk that road out of His love for you and me. Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary.
11.01.2022 Pamukkale pools Seven churches in Asia Minor Turkey According to the bible Revelation 3:14-22 And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: ‘The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God's creation. ‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. ...
