01.01.2022 Brad Cumming's work is always there. It's not necessarily something you think about, but it's what gives the picture that 'edge' and cinematic look. Cumming is ...the colorist for the film and a man that knows his strengths. "I can't draw. I can't write. But I understand color. At Phoenix Post we had done a lot of little projects, corporate clips, short films but I was looking for something bigger. When Innuendo came along I was excited to get involved, just to test if we can do long form. And we could, in fact it was surprisingly quick. I love coloring work because I feel it's the very last creative part of film making and you can really make a difference to the mood and the tone of the story. My biggest inspiration for color would be Captain Phillips by Paul Greengrass, he's got a unique style and a creative look. With Innuendo I loved working on some of the magic hour shots and the garden scenes with chainsaw carvings. Also the fact that it was shot in two countries that look so different made my work interesting. I'd like to see Innuendo do really well, especially at the European film markets."
