20.01.2022 Carpet Repair and Re-Stretch Education We were called to a property recently where the original carpet hadnt been down very long at all. Unfortunately, when the carpet was installed, the underlay wasnt trimmed back enough. This meant that when the installers stretched the carpet onto the gripper, the underlay also went with it! The carpet couldnt attach to the gripper properly as the underlay was sandwiched in-between, which caused almost immediate sagging and wrinkli...ng. The carpet was pulled back, the underlay trimmed and re-stretched the carpet with a KNEE KICKER, not a power stretcher. We get lots of people telling us that only a power stretcher can be used to fix these types of issues - absolute nonsense! Look at how much carpet was trimmed off! @ Dianella, Western Australia

20.01.2022 We were contacted by a client, who explained that due to his wife’s ailing health, she was unable to define each stair at home, and he was terrified that she would fall and have an accident. @stairrods_uk Euro 20mm covers in Satin Nickel were installed to each step, to help to provide a guide and better visibility when she took to the stairs. #thinkingoutsideofthebox

10.01.2022 Artis are now proud to announce another string to the flooring bow! We are now suppliers of high-end luxury carpets to compliment our other ranges. This particular client came to me with a very specific brief of wanting velvety-soft carpet which would make walking on in barefoot a joy. They also wanted a physical sense of relaxation upon entering the bedroom. However, they wanted to combine luxury with practicality - it also had to be hard-wearing. We enjoy a challenge so we did a lot of research to find the best of the best! I am very happy to report that the brief was most definitely achieved!

04.01.2022 This was an installation project for Scope Interiors, for a bridal boutique in Subiaco. The chosen size planks were laid in a Herringbone pattern for a truly stunning effect. Note that vinyl tiles can be laid onto existing ceramic tiles, but that adequate preparation must be done in the form of securing any loose tiles, filling in patches in the floor and priming throughout, before progressing to a full screed application. As with all of our installations, each plank is installed edge to edge, eliminating the need for unflattering beading, resulting in a more professional finish.
