Hi, Im Zoe and here are some random fun facts about me: Before I went on maternity leave I was an animation producer. ... I have a background in graphic design & Illustration and dabbled in props making for film/TV. I havent had a haircut all year. Ive been with my husband for over 12 years, married for nearly 3 and we have a beautiful 1yr old. We moved to Melbourne from Sydney in October last year and have been in lockdown for half of our time here Im a Pisces (and still am, even after the zodiac signs shifted and became 13. did you know that happened??) When I was 7, I sang as part of a chorus alongside Tina Arena. Her album dont ask was my first ever CD that I bought with my own pocket money, which later got stolen when our car got broken into Any of these similar to you? What was your first album?

15.01.2022 Ill- so we actually made the move but it was made unnecessarily stressful by My Moovers charging for two trucks at more than double the quoted price, because they under estimated the requirements. When queried in this before booking, we were assured that nothing would be left behind as they had backup trucks. They didnt mention these were only available two weeks later. Who moves with the luxury of two weeks to pick up??? So, under pressure at 7pm before settlement day, w...e agree to truck that turns up ( again) two hours late. Was harassed while cleaning to finalise payment for first truck, when they werent allowed in property and certainly hadnt delivered. Adding insult to injury, the company charged a large Cr Card fee on a debit card and even a charge on the charge. Have phoned, emailed and been ignored and left waiting with rounds of frenetic Muzak that my husband agreed, was almost designed to stress the caller out more. 08.01.2022 I often title my paintings after lines in songs, or in books I’ve read, or from poems. Sometimes ( I had a whole body of work waaaaay back) after cliches. I keep a list of these on my phone, in case I’m stuck for a title, but usually, the name doe a work comes about half way through making it. As I usually start with just marks and an idea of the colours I’d like to use, it’s not until this point in the prices that the painting starts to talk to me and take over. Her process glories in the tactility of surfaces and interwoven layers, starting with random marks and forms, followed by a process of "letting go" to enter into a dialogue with, and adventure in, the mediums she uses - a call and answer of marks, colours, form and rhythm. She utilises these elemental, tactile self-expressive processes in ...direct opposition to technologically based media, to seek new forms that will ultimately carry a very human, emotional weight.
