23.01.2022 Fixed this damaged Wisteria arbour and made the smaller feather shaped Incense burner today.

19.01.2022 Here’s my entry for the Weekly Challenge. I had to wait to get some incense before posting it up. I started with a scrap of 2 mm flat plate, hacked out the rough shape with a micro disk and hot cut. Filed all the edges and fullered the quill spine with a purpose built bottom swage and a domed slot punch. Shaped and scrolled the incense holder then coloured it with a LPGas heating torch before dipping it into a tin of clear lacquer. I bought some Golden Era and some Extra Hit incense sticks and both are too strong for my liking. Thinking of making my own for inspiration in the forge. Panama Red or Oklahoma Gold. Any recommendations? Need seeds to grow my own!

11.01.2022 I have a distinct dislike for Reo Bar, regardless of its size, but just occasionally I let my guard drop and end up using some. Here is a little bit of fun using 100% found items. Around here nothing goes to waste. I hope to show better pictures when it is installed on the barn. Liked so much I got an order for another one. Note to self: ... I should have washed the chalk off before the picture. See more

02.01.2022 Beware - falling branches. I have a little repair job but I think the arbor may have protected the stained glass windows from damage. None of the supports were damaged, just the rods.
