15.01.2022 Merry Christmas to all and have to make note that I finally managed to work out my Edge cutter machine ,yaaay , thanks to some newish videos by Poccona and vac I found the first four on youtube and am now ready to conquer the world with with my appliques , one apple at a time . Cheers let me know if you have questions Im happy to share and still lots more to learn

I started this group when I first got my Janome Edge and keep it for links I have found useful on the journey I then joined a bigger active group which is sadly about to close with all that info gone.. so... I have decided to reactivate the group in case the info is of use to others especially in Australia.

09.01.2022 It is with great joy and elation that I welcome this magnificent tool into my life. I have been pondering the greatest possibilites for months while researching this one and other brands similar tools. After 6 hours of installation issues and lots of anxious moments I finally have it installed and apparently ready to go.... If ONLY I can wrangle the design and operations program to run the damn thing ... best I walk away ,for now and try again tomorrow.

09.01.2022 So does anybody know how to use this device? lol ....still stuck ..maybe I should have bought a scan and cut..

06.01.2022 I am trying to do numbers with an outline in a different color. I tried an outside offset cut and it did not line up perfectly. Was going to try an inside cut and discard the little piece that is cut off. I will layer the two color of vinyl. Do anyone think this will work or know of any other way to do it. Maybe I should just machine embroidery the numbers with an outline around them like I did the last name years ago - question received via inbox

02.01.2022 Update: did manage to cut an applique from a template in the program but I now have to learn some more about Scaleable vector images or SVG file types.
