13.01.2022 I finally got around to downloading my award badge from ABIA Weddings Australia and to say I am thankful would be an understatement! I started this business in 2018 after my husband and myself decided I would not be able to hold a fulltime job with our son spending 90% of his life in hospital and racing backward and forward from appointments every week. We purchased my camera, paid for my Wedding Photography Diploma course and off I went. On my own, while still being a full ...time mum to our two beautiful children. Little did I know that in just 2 short years I would be a finalist in one of the biggest wedding companies in Australia coming 14th for QLD I am thankful every day that my couples choose me to capture their weddings and trust me to create the memories that will last a lifetime. The sky was perfect all day, until about 5 - 10 minutes before our session, so unfortunately, no golden hour today! It was cold, windy and it rained 10 minutes after we left! 12.01.2022 Little Miracles Sophie & Alice were born at just 23 weeks weighing in at just over 500 grams. They are now currently 5 months old and weigh the same as an average newborn. Whilst today they didn't sleep during their session I am so happy that these little girls parents asked me to capture these memories for them. After 141 days in hospital and spending 120 days separated Jacqueline & Nick have some beautiful photos of their baby girls together. I was in awe of their strength and how incredible these parents were today during this session <3
