22.01.2022 Welded Hearts// As women, we speak from our heart. In hard times, we gather together in community, we share our stories, and we hold space for others to express emotions. We find solstice in creating, in making. Art helps us process our thoughts and emotions, that sometimes we don’t have words for. Art gives us a voice, it helps us, as women, speak our truth and show courage. By using the techniques of welding, which is seen as a masculine medium, we find our own ways to c...ombine our feminine elements and show our resilience through this hard and strong medium. Through our art, we share our stories of courage, bravery and resilience, and spread our message of hope to the community. You are warmly invited to my upcoming art exhibition. My NEW body of Art will be showcased, alongside my friend Colleen Lavender Colchameleon design at The Centre Art Gallery, Beaudesert QLD. The exhibition will run from 20th Feb to 26th March 2021. The official opening is on the 20th Feb 10.30am where there will be morning tea provided, plus I will be speaking on a panel discussion as part of the combined WOW Festival (Women of the World) - RSVP essential, for more info click the link in my bio. 20.01.2022 Our happy faces and joyful hearts after finishing our 26 metre snake sculpture! And there was dancing too! Working in the heat of Queensland summer was definitely challenging at times, along with the intricate details of this artwork, where every curve was custom-designed to fit in the space and keep the flowing, snake-like energy. With every artwork I make, I grow more and more. ... Thankyou sooo much to my partner Leon Metzker for collaborating with me on this big art project and for your patience! Stephen Paterson

19.01.2022 Although this year has been an extremely challenging time, it has been an incredibly healing experience for me. I have been taking time to reflect what is really important in my life, I did some soul searching, and discovered more about myself and who I am, making way for a better & stronger version of myself with a clearer vision. So now that my cup is full, I have much to offer you!... I am feeling called to open space for CREATIVE MENTOR sessions again, for both adults and kids. If you are feeling stuck creatively, need some guidance, don't even know where to start or what is holding you back - I am here for you, message me. Another exciting thing that I will be moving towards, is creating more depth to my art workshops - soon I will be launching a new INTUITIVE ART WORKSHOP where I will share techniques and create space to express our emotions through art. This is something that I am truly passionate about - art is my way of expressing myself, especially when I don't have the words. It is my therapy and can be an incredibly healing tool. 12.01.2022 I’m SUPER excited to share with you our beautiful snake sculpture, just finished!! Wow what a journey it has been over the past 4 months in collaboration with Leon Metzker - hand-cutting and painting thousands of timber scales, to bring this 26 metre snake sculpture to life! ... She is a symbol of healing, as she helped me transform from the intense pandemic and through my own inner journey last year. She stands strong yet flexible, agile in her movements, steady in her patience and fierce with creative energy. The snake has long been a symbol of the creative life force within humans as is taught in eastern traditions. The kundalini or serpent fire lies coiled at the base of the spine. As we grow and develop, the primal energy is released, rising up the spine. This intern activates energy centres in the body and the mind, opening new dimensions and levels of awareness, health, and creativity. - words from Animal Speak. 12.01.2022 Here she is, our beautiful 26 metre snake sculpture What an incredible journey it has been over the past 4 months to create this custom commission in collaboration with Leon Metzker She has been built using thousands of hand-cut timber scales, every curve was custom-designed to fit in the space and keep the flowing, snake-like energy. The eyes are handmade with gold leaf and resin. The tongue and shapes around the eyes are copper (recycled from the old shower basin on the p...roperty). And of course, a stone spiral as the tail - you know I love spirals! She is a symbol of healing, as she helped me transform from the intense pandemic and through my own inner journey last year.
