19.01.2022 Did you hear? Swimming at Glen Helen Gorge is BACK! For seven months the popular swimming spot was cut-off when the Glen Helen Lodge closed during the COVID-19... pandemic. But, after working with Traditional Owners, NT Parks and Wildlife has developed a new walking trail which tracks around the property line of the lodge, to allow visitors to make use of the swimming hole once again. "We understood the position of the owners of the resort and I guess what that's brought to our attention is that we really need to think about this from a long term point of view as well, we can't really have access to the gorge through someone else's property," said Chris Day, from NT Parks and Wildlife.
