08.01.2022 A third of the way in now. It’s going through the ‘ugly stage’. Sometimes this stage of creation is challenging to push through. With this creation it’s easy because my vision is clearly established.... I’m really happy with the background colouring to start building up. Inspiration is now from rainbow eucalyptus .

06.01.2022 The silver layer is down. I’ve been agonising over the next layer.... I’ve actually decided to dapple white down so the greys & blues can contest in places to the silver. White dapples will be opaque, greys and blues will be somewhat translucent. ... Let’s do it! ps: I’m now a student of Jane Monteith so my focus will be texture and multimedia with resin for a while. 02.01.2022 Since we’ve got cows on the property- I’ve gone a bit cow mad. I photograph them, film them, talk to them - so it’s no surprise that I’ve started to draw them!
