13.01.2022 Cannot believe it’s has been a month since we opened. All I can say is, this is by far the busiest, most exhausted and overwhelmed I have ever been, but I wouldn’t change it for a thing. 13.01.2022 A common question is will I bruise? This is an image of the blood vessels in the face and as you can see they are everywhere so the answer is YES most likely you will. If you don’t bruise after injectables you are lucky. I always tell my clients to expect it and avoid getting it too close to an social event you may have coming up. Bruising, swelling, redness and tenderness post injectables are common and can last 1-2 weeks until fully settled. ... There are things you can do to try and minimise bruising - avoid medication that thins the blood - neurofen and aspirin if safe to do so, ensure you are well, avoid gym for 48 hours and alcohol for 24 hours pre and post treatment. Other things that can help is arnica cream/tablets and a yellow LED which we offer in clinic for $49 as an add on after your injectable treatment. Remember each treatment is different and just because you didn’t bruise after a treatment does not mean you won’t after your next. Plan your inject appointments around your social calendar!!

02.01.2022 Today is 6 months since opening SILK Wagga, wow time flies. 2020 a year so many want to forget but for me it was one to remember for so many reasons. When COVID hit the panic set it- imagining opening a brand new business in the middle of a pandemic and telling the staff you hired they no longer had a job. BUT we did and I can say its definitely not easy, it’s tiring and sometimes stressful but the BEST decision I ever made. I have worked so hard to make it the best service a...nd clinic I possibly can and could not do it without my amazing staff. I have learnt many things over the years but the one thing is how to treat your staff- they are the so important to me and I wouldn’t have the business I have without them. I found myself to be the busiest I have been since starting my career as a cosmetic nurse, many days without breaks to fit clients in. I have missed out on quite a few things this year with my kids sport and many a times going days without seeing my husband but I can say it is definitely been worth it.
