Toby Topham: Self taught Bundeena based artist with a bright and bold style. I take i...nfluence from street art, tattoo art, indigenous art and the oceans. I use a wide style of ocean colours and hard dark lines to detail. I’ve been lucky enough to be introduced to art from my Mums, Sarah Vibert and Wanda Stafford - being under their watchful eye on this journey I’m on has been a blessing sharing studio space with them pushes me to my limits and brings out the best possible artist in me. I’ve been painting just over a year now and look to put many more years into it. My work on display at the festival are small pieces on my own hand crafted clear acrylic canvas I’m always looking to do different things and make myself stand out in my own way. I love these pieces and I hope you do too! See more

01.01.2022 Get your entry in early to have your art featured on our FB page! http://artofliving.com.au/index.php/art/art-show-application Our featured artist today is Wanda Stafford. Wanda's artworks tell the stories of her environment, influenced by the colours, noises and life surrounding her home and studio in Bundeena. Wanda has grown to be renowned for her Australian Wildlife, Ocean Turtles, Flowers and Nudes. In 2014, Wanda and her wife Sarah opened Wanda Stafford Art Studio 11, a... very successful boutique Art Gallery which was open for several years featuring local artists, but unfortunately the gallery closed in 2017 due to illness. This major setback with her health debilitated Wanda enough not to be able to paint, not even able to pick up a paint brush. After almost 2 years of this debilitating ailment, slowly Wanda picked up her paint brushes and had to totally rethink how to do things that were always taken for granted. Wanda used art as rehabilitation and still with many physical and coordination issues, the creativity took over and now after 6 months with trying so hard to paint - an hour here, a few seconds at a time there, she is now creating art that she feels is better than prior to her illness.
