15.01.2022 Mike leaving us so soon and so quickly has been the hardest thing to process.... I have never been so lost for words..(even Mike would think that was impossible)... I am so grateful for the Letterheads that I have been able to personally share console with over the last few weeks.. It seems clear, after watching the tributes flow, that who ever you were and however you knew Mike we all knew the same guy... His intense purpose, generosity and humour has inspired us all and the embers will glow in our hearts forever. 12.01.2022 Meanwhile as the whole world apparently went mad ABOVE ground this week..... I found myself lucky enough to be Deep UNDER ground, with no mobile phone reception and limited communication with the outside world, surrounded by wine, happily slinging paint in the Cellar at the big house..Completed the first of four murals on Friday.... First opportunity to photograph the restored and hand painted barrels, i worked on a few months back, in situ too...Love it when a plan comes together!

09.01.2022 I am hard wired to say YES to a project then figure out the 'how to' after i have been given the job. When i was asked earlier this year, if i could reproduce some of Monets masterpieces, the answer of course was YES...(which of course at best was a wild and crazy assumption) So like a fool unwittingly skipping towards the edge of a cliff, i accepted the challenge of reproducing the brushstrokes of one of the greatest impressionist painters of all time. I can now reveal the... results of the most torturous, joyful, humbling and extraordinarily educative Artistic adventure of my career thus far. 2 of the reproductions are directly to the curved walls of the home, the plaster boarders have been hand gilded in 23 carat Gold leaf by my great friend and comrade Jeff Marshall. 4 of the reproductions were painted direct to custom made canvases then framed. 14 columns throughout the home were also given 'The Art of Crazy' treatment with a bit of marbling and antique gold. These artworks are just part of a remarkable ongoing project with remarkable people.... News from the cellar Coming Soon.
