18.01.2022 In the adults creative classes this week we painted Tuli, the red-fronted macaw owned me by the delightful Keko of @tuli_and_ko Thanks must go to @maplemacaw as we used one of her photos as a reference. I love introducing my students to new bird species and new watercolour techniques! This was the first watercolour class for many of the students so I think they did brilliantly to keep up with me! . . #adultartclasses

15.01.2022 We took the art class outside this week to study sunflowers from life! Because hey, we can’t help but be inspired by our wonderful new venue @farm.and.co We studied the textures, colours and shapes of sunflowers from life and then raced the sun to paint them before we ran out of light. 09.01.2022 Here’s just a handful of portraits from the adults creative class this week. We worked on loose, messy faces, allowing the watercolour to move and flow where it pleased. Drips and splashes and all mistakes were welcome in the first few coats with a little attention to detail at the end.
