24.01.2022 Christmas presents How about coffee mugs (microwave and dishwasher safe), fridge magnets and blank cards of my paintings as well as shallow bowls and lazy Susan.... All are food safe. 22.01.2022 Local artist Karen Smith is at the Arts Centre today with her work. Her table is full of beautiful glass jewellery and platters. Apologies come along to have a chat with Karen and perhaps pick up something for a loved one for Christmas, or something special for yourself! The Arts Centre is open today until 4pm.

22.01.2022 SEEKING EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST 2021 PERFORMANCES ARTS CENTRE, PORT NOARLUNGA The Arts Centre, Port Noarlunga, is seeking expressions of interest from performers or producers based in the City of Onkaparinga area, to present performances at the Arts Centre during 2021.... Performances may be inclusive of, but not limited to, music, dance, live theatre, comedy and / or film. The Arts Centre generally presents one show per month, from February to November each year, with some events also registered as part of Adelaide wide festivals and events. 19.01.2022 ARTIST OPPORTUNITY Sharehouse 2021 With 2021 approaching fast, Carclew is on the lookout for 2021 resident artists. The Sharehouse residency program will see the number of young artists making Carclew’s grand house and grounds their own almost double, with grander plans to expand further in future years.... Rather than specify genres, Sharehouse will enable artists practicing in any artform to apply and nominate the space they would like to occupy to make their work. Sharehouse Residents will be provided with a studio space most suitable to their needs. This round they've got two MESSY SPACES, one QUIET SPACE and one BIG SPACE! Primarily an opportunity for early-career artists/practitioners to experiment with their creative practice and hone their craft, residents will also be supported by Carclew staff to develop their professional capacities more broadly. 18.01.2022 Announcement COVID-19 Update The Arts Centre galleries remain open, but all classes have been cancelled for the time being.... An update will be provided on any further changes or event cancellations as this is known. In line with Government Covid-19 regulations we ask that visitors maintain directed social distances, respect capacity limits and understand that contact tracing will be captured on entry.

17.01.2022 The Arts Centre is open! 10am-4pm Monday-Friday and 1-4pm on Saturdays. Most classes have resumed, our galleries are lined with artworks, and the Art Shop is stocked with hand made gifts.... We are adhering to Covid-19 safe practices and are still taking details of our visitors for tracking and tracing purposes. We look forward to seeing you soon!

06.01.2022 The Australian String Quartet will take to the stage at the Arts Centre, Port Noarlunga, on Saturday 14 November, with 2 shows, at 4pm and 7pm. The Quartet will be playing Matthew Hindson, String Quartet no 3 Ngeringa, and Schubert, String Quartet in D minor Death and the Maiden. Onkaparinga Gallery ‘Slow Art in an Instant’ asks the question, in the age of instant everything... what do we learn from viewing art? A painting may have taken hours or days to complete. Art reveals itself both immediately and slowly, as viewers investigate the process that made the art and the narrative of the place itself.
