Creative workers can undertake a six-month paid residency in a Victorian government primary or secondary school next year to design and deliver a creative project. In the wake of COVID-19, this provides a short-term working opportunity for creative workers who have been so deeply impacted, as well inspiring budding artists with creative learning opportunities in schools. Creativ...ity in schools improves critical thinking and confidence, encouraging students to problem solve and engage in subject matter on a deeper level. For some in our community this time has meant re-connection and quality time with family, for others it has been a time of loneliness and hardship.
