18.01.2022 Lockdown is lifting, and so are our spirits. We're pleased to be announcing the composition from our 1300-ROAR project - where we called for Ballarat to give us their rage, fear, passion and confusion about lockdowns and pandemics. We took those sounds and made them into music. The result is 'In So Many Words' - hauntingly beautiful and longing for a return to something that approximates 'normal'. A specially composed piece written and produced by local composers, internation...ally recognised Rae Howell with support from emerging composer Brannoc Whetter is released in time for our Be_Hear/now festival of community, place, music and art. Hear the piece now - www.creativeballarat.com.au/1300-roar
