18.01.2022 NEW! We have some stunning new sculptures in the Bistro at the moment - and we know that you'll love them as much as we do. Local artist Barry Mills (Barjarg) h...as been a practicing Artist/Craftsman for some 45 years. His additions to our Bistro are from his "Sticks" series and are both for sale. Barry's work is represented in many private and public collections including the National Gallery of Victoria, the Western Australian Art Gallery, the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney and Artbank. If you're a Mansfield Musical & Dramatic Society fan then you may remember the set from Black Adder last year .... Barry won the Georgy Awards Association Inc. award for set design in 2019. 09.01.2022 Arts Mansfield is deeply saddened to write of the loss of Committee member and performance devotee, Colin Rochford, who passed away in Melbourne on Friday 24 July aged 70. In acknowledgement of his considerable contribution to performance and community, we decided to post his obituary in full. Born and schooled in New Zealand, Colin studied for a Bachelor of Science at the University of Otago in Dunedin before moving to Australia in 1974....Continue reading

06.01.2022 Seventeen aspiring writers took part in Arts Mansfield's Short Story Writing workshop held on Saturday morning. The session was led by Laura Goodin, who not only has a PhD in Creative Writing but also a swag full of literary and academic publishings. The group now has a heads up on drafting and polishing their short stories for the Bushy Tales short story competition later this year.
