21.01.2022 EXHIBITION OPPORTUNITY Gallery 25 (g25), one of the CREAtec galleries on the grounds of the ECU, Mt Lawley campus is a purpose built gallery suitable for mid-career and established artists for solo or group shows. A fresh, intimate view of the opera world as young singers from Lisa Gasteen’s world famous national opera program prepare for a performance of Carmen. 2 screenings at the Margaret River HEART in January to whet your appetite for the live performance of Carmen presented by Arts Margaret River this August.

11.01.2022 EIGHT is a collective of experiences and stories that chronicles open-ended visions of death, the evolution of suffering and the reclamation of life through memory. If you missed this moving exhibition in Margaret River, you can visit it in Bunbury.

11.01.2022 The TAFE Visual Arts and Craft student end of year exhibition is on in the reception area of the Margaret River TAFE Campus. Open Monday to Friday 9am-4pm until the 2 December. Go and check out the fabulous artworks produced by these talented students.

10.01.2022 This long weekend is the perfect time to complete your piece for the Community Story Quilt. Submissions must be 15cm x 15cm on a fabric backing. The final quilt will be displayed as part of a community exhibition from 26 October to 7 November.

09.01.2022 A huge thank you to everyone that was involved in the Bystander Project - our wonderful and brave storytellers, the amazing and talented Mark & Georgia from Whiskey & Boots and musicians and photographer Tom and Holly Garvey. It was a fantastic project that will live on in our hearts and minds and Arts Margaret River is very proud to have been able to bring it to our community. 01.01.2022 2021 SUNDOWNERS - CALLING FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FROM LOCAL MUSICIANS Arts Margaret River will be presenting our annual Sundowner series in Cowaramup on Sunday 7th, 14th & 21st February from 5pm - 7pm. If you are a local musician or band and would like to register your interest in performing at one of the Sundowners, please send your details to [email protected] by the 30 October 2020 with the following information: Name, number of band members, music genre, link to sound or performance sample, fee, preferred date. Please note: Sound Technician and equipment provided however due to open air sound shell limitations, accoustic solo performers are not encouraged to apply. Performance requirement is 45 minutes - 1hour plus a 30 minute sound check on the day.
