In celebration of NAIDOC Week, the Australian High Commission of India is hosting a calendar of events. The program officially opened last Friday 6 November with a Welcome to Country by the Gimuy Walubara Yidinji and Yirrganydji Nation Traditional Owners. Speakers were the Australian High Commissioner, the Hon Barry O’Farrell AO (India), Janina Harding,... the Artistic Director CIAF (Cairns), Arts Nexus President, Julia Leu. Jenuarrie presented an overview of the national Language landscape and general information about Intellectual Property and Copyright of traditional stories and images. Here is her presentation.
