She is renowned for combining her love of music and language, showcasing both in a creatively captivating splendor. Writing original songs and translating well known Australian songs into her Ngamba Dhalaay mother’s tongue. Quarralia is a third generation singer song-writer from Tamworth, NSW and a proud Gomeroi woman. Music has always been a part of Quarralia’s life, she has developed her own sound in harmony with the styles that have surrounded her growing up varying from Blues, Rock, R&B and Rap. This is an Arts North West and 2 Rivers initiative made possible by Arts Restart funding through the NSW Government. 24.01.2022 FUNDING OPPORTUNITY: Arts Rescue & Restart package from Create NSW The Rescue and Restart package is intended to support not-for-profit arts and cultural organisations across NSW.... The NSW Government recognises the important contribution the arts and cultural sector makes to the NSW economy, as well as to the community’s wellbeing, particularly during challenging times. There are two funding avenues for this package: 1. Continuous assessment for Rescue and Restart funding for organisations with turnover* greater than $100,000 per annum. 2. A one-off $5,000 support package designed for small organisations (such as voluntary groups, community associations, etc) with turnover of less than $100,000. *Turnover is the total amount of income generated by the organisation per annum. Directed by Gwenda Blackwell with pre-show performance by special guest musician John Krsulja. A one-woman show set in the Wild West offering an intimate, unique and pared-back theatrical experience enhanced by compelling music, lighting and sound effects.... Shootin’ Sadie is like a story by the fireside but more - the audience is treated to one woman performing multiple characters on stage, narrating her own story of adversity and triumph through the entertaining and accessible prism of the Wild West genre. 20.01.2022 We have been watching this spectacular light installation unfold outside our office window! So great to see site specific creative installations in our Glen Innes parklands! The Walk of Light is supported through The Summer Fund, part of the NSW Government’s efforts to support community wellbeing and economic recovery. Congrats to all involved. Can't wait to see it in all of its glory... I might have to stay late after work!

18.01.2022 Black Gully Festival will be looking a little different this year! Normally held as an outdoor festival in the parklands behind NERAM, the festival will be a virtual livestream of music accompanied by short films on the themes of environment, art and community. 17.01.2022 Tamworth Regional Council is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from artists for the development, design and completion of a large-scale sculpture(s) for the Oxley Highway and Country Road Roundabout. The roundabout will form the intersection of Oxley Highway, Country Road, New Winton Road and the entry to the new Tamworth Global Gateway Park. Situated approximately six (6) kilomtres from the CBD, the roundabout will serve as a major gateway to the city from the West, as well as to the Tamworth Regional Airport!
