23.01.2022 This morning was alive with birds in the light rain. It was also one frigging amazing moment when I got to watch my first sighting of a Golden Whistler!! I mana...ged to paint one on the field bin in Boyup before I saw one in person. I normally have seen the birds that I paint as they have their own characteristics. When you paint a bird it's as if you know them intimately. Every feather, the colour of their eyes, the way the yellow is shaped around the little bird body. So this morning was very cool. I got it pretty good in paint. Also was a very fluffed up White Robin, from the Robin family that grew outside my bedroom window. Cutest. #birdlady #sobrane

15.01.2022 I loooove these pics I took a few weeks ago. These are a Carnaby Cockatoo couple. The male on the left with the slight red orange around the eye and black beak.... The female looking on. Such a beautiful bird and look at how nature made its feathers to give the white lines. # magic The Carnabys have been following me on my journey down South. #crazybirdlady
