23.01.2022 Armenian photographer Suren Manvelyan created a gripping Animal Eyes close-up photo series. His pictures reveal the sort of vibrant colours and intricate detail...s that would even make for a beautiful poster, and seeing something that’s hidden from the naked eye is always the beauty of macro photography. With such close photos, one is able to see details such as the irises’ colour gradients, textures, patterns and even tiny blood vessels, causing these eyes to look like alien landscapes.

18.01.2022 How are you going keeping the kids occupied during school holidays? Townsville City Council launched the 30 Ways in 30 Days program on the Strand this morning. The campaign aims to keep children active over the school holidays with free events throughout the month of April. Today's sandcastle making workshop encouraged children to construct, dig or swim while Sandy the mermaid entertained with stories of the sea.
