23.01.2022 Let's talk reusable snack pouches... Do you use them or want to try? What uses do you have for them?... I have just added a range of Reusable Snack Pouches to my product range. They come in 3 sizes and are made from PUL fabric (meaning they're waterproof). Small: 12cm wide x 11cm tall Medium: 16cm wide x 15cm tall Large: 20cm wide x 19cm tall I'll have these available at the Clermont Community Markets this weekend and then they'll be available online next week. For my family I can see them used quite a few different things - and not just food... In place of small packets of chips or biscuits in lunch boxes Keep dummies or chew toys clean Carrying medicine bottles and dosing syringes (can anyone tell I have a teething baby... ) Nuts Lollies (for Mum of course! ) Wet bags for the nappy bag (the large would fit a pair of shorts and undies - also my life right now) What other suggestions do you have? #handmade #wetbag #snacks #reuseablesnackpouch #reusablesnackbags #lunchboxaccessories

21.01.2022 There's been lots of super special secret projects on the sewing table so not much that I can share... I've had so many orders these past few weeks - most for bags that are a bit different to what I usually do (those that I can almost do with my eyes closed), but it's been great to sink my teeth into some new designs. It's finally starting to look like I'll be able to get through all of my orders AND pack for the Xmas holidays... Maybe... 21.01.2022 I'm batch sewing this week... 6 caddies are underway and nearing completion! Sometimes it feels slower, but it's definitely a more efficient way to sew - especially when I'm crossing between the sewing machine, iron and cutting board constantly I particularly.do this when I have batches that use the same colour thread! 11.01.2022 Busy bags are a great for keeping kids occupied or distracted. Ours is currently loaded with small cars but it had an outing to the local hospital emergency room yesterday... The biggest dude hurt his eye with a ball and we needed to be checked out. His busy bag was a great way to keep him occupied and took the focus away from the hospital and doctors. It also gave the nurses and doctors something to use when they wanted him to focus and track an object... His eye will be ...fine - just bruised. And the experience wasn't traumatic! Not too 'cutsie', not too big, but holds the essentials - wipes, nappy a perhaps a disposable change mat and a couple of bags... Made from upcycled hi-vis workwear, they're tough and durable. Occasionally they have a couple of small marks (it's workwear after all) but this doesn't affect the look or integrity of the bags....
