23.01.2022 Term 1: 2020 has come to a strange end. Fiction has become reality as we all grapple to make sense of it all and continue. A lot of wonderful work has been created and will continue to be created at Art Tribe. Here is some of the work completed and nearly completed this Term by this wonderful bunch of artists at the Art Tribe Family. We are a collective of beginners, intermediates, expressionists, anarchists, realists and experimentalists which happen to get along extremel...y well and celebrate each other’s differences. 19.01.2022 Congratulations to Marija for winning Painting of the year 2019 at GAG! Here she’s standing in front of a painting done at Art Tribe. The painting features many of the things Marija Newbold adores; texture, tones, nature, still life and her beloved pottery. We at Art Tribe strive to challenge ourselves, step out of our comfort zone, think outside the box and sharpen our skills to produce work we didn’t think we could ever achieve!

13.01.2022 Mumma ...... approx 80x60cm Portrait in oil by Daniela Mariani A heartwarming portrait of the artist’s late mother in the place that she loved, doing the thing that she loved for the people she loved. Every element in the painting triggers a memory of good times & happy days, of youth & of time that passes us all ... so very quickly. It is Dani’s second oil painting with Art Tribe. She has quickly developed her own style and really enjoys giving us a glimpse at everyday life. Most of all she gifts us the privilege of awareness and of how precious our daily life can be.
