16.01.2022 STILL LIFE Gorgeous drawings from our Wednesday class representing LINE,SHAPE and FORM. Drawing with new mediums such as Charcoal and working with continuous contour lines aswell as drawing with our opposite hand!!! Now that’s a challenge!! The final drawings took 30 minutes in charcoal and our youngest artist today is 6! Awesome work guys

16.01.2022 MUNDARING CLASS....SAT 8:30-10:30 SEEING V’S KNOWING Capturing the stunning Kangaroo Paw, Eucalyptus leaves and an old Pilbara bull skull....through line, using 2B pencils and charcoals. Amazing efforts by these young kids to challenge their brains, by avoiding drawing what they know and actually drawing what they see. Beautiful drawings ... 09.01.2022 As a catalyst for contemporary art, abstract painting rejected the rules of traditional art. Rather than focus on figurative and representational depictions, abstract painters placed emphasis on color, composition, and emotion...... And that is exactly what our Wednesday and Saturday class achieved! Check out our works in progress! Working with a variety of mediums, such as pastels, oil and wax crayons and Watercolour pencils, the challenge was to represent; FORM, TON...E, VERTICAL and HORIZONTAL lines aswell as SHAPES-Geometric with an interesting COMPOSITION.... COLOURS considered were either Comlimentary or Analagous. Excellent progress kiddos!!! See more
