23.01.2022 Depression is real .... it often lives in the shadows and can be hard to explain to others what you are feeling and thinking. Living in a world where all of a sudden it feels like things have taken a turn in a direction which is uncomfortable and unknown, adds to an already overwhelming sense of loneliness. Please know that there are people you can reach out too, you aren't alone.

21.01.2022 No words can explain the feelings and frustrations which people are feeling as a result of this ongoing lockdown. The confusion, the uncertainty, the worrying, the anxiety, the stress and the pressure. It is tough, it is hard and it feels lonely. If there is one word, I am reminded of regularly it is "HOPE!" having a confident expectation and desire for something good in the future. Without hope it is hard to get through the days and without hope things feel helpless. Hold ...onto "HOPE!" and take one day at a time. Kelly

17.01.2022 Parenting is a rewarding role with good and challenging moments. However, sometimes it does feel as though there are more challenging moments than fun times. Before I became a counsellor, I was a primary school teacher and implemented a similar ‘Bucketfilling’ concept in my classroom. I also trained other teachers in the concept and helped parents implement it into their homes. I know there are many parents/families struggling at the moment because their lives took a big change and they became not just the parent, but also the teacher and many were/are juggling this with working from home. I am offering an opportunity to share my knowledge, skills and strategies with parents interested in creating an environment at home where peace is more often and stress is less.
