20.01.2022 Big thanks to David Vile for putting a casual conversation into a great article and Big Rigs National Road Transport Newspaper for a great spread.

19.01.2022 As much as we love the rain, it always makes our jobs just a little more challenging.....

17.01.2022 Andy and Russ were pretty tired after loading this load of used truck tyres. Delivered to Melbourne for recycling.

17.01.2022 Who can guess where we are floating around this morning?

17.01.2022 Some days we face some pretty challenging conditions taking loads to places trucks are not meant to go. Here are some photos of some of those places. As challenging as they may be, its nothing compared to what our Anzacs faced, so we are taking the weekend off to reflect and remember those who fought for what we have today. Lest we forget.

17.01.2022 Hay! Yep it’s that time of year! Silage and hay season has well and truly started. If you need it moved we can help. Balers, rakes, wrappers, mowers and even the finished product. We can tow with our special implement hitch or float it anywhere you need.

16.01.2022 A coupe of big weeks with some big gear all across NSW, with some great views to match.

16.01.2022 Did you know we even truck Trucks and Trailers?!

14.01.2022 Delivering a very valuable wooden flour mill to the new Harris Farm Markets Albury just before it opened in January.

14.01.2022 No chance of a shiny truck, but how good is the location!

14.01.2022 Having an extended break for Christmas? Dont forget we will be available over the break for all your transport needs! Here are some extended loads of poles and pipes that weve helped our good friends at Dawsons Haulage with to Canberra, Yass, Darlington Point and Rochester.

14.01.2022 New Holland combine, wheat and canola fronts picked up from Southern NSW, piloted and delivered to The Spirit of Tasmania, Port Melbourne. Heading to its new home in Tassie.

13.01.2022 A concrete building module move we did a while back. These are used to build new town houses, just like giant Lego blocks really!

13.01.2022 Sometimes bigger isn’t always better, we had to down size the float for these tight access moves in Strathbogie Ranges.

12.01.2022 One of our trucks that misses out on featuring in most of our posts but works hard in the background.

12.01.2022 Rolling through Friday, have a great weekend!!

12.01.2022 Did you know we also offer tipper services? For sand, gravel or any bulk material deliveries we have the solution for you.

11.01.2022 Some days we just get on a roll.

11.01.2022 Some weeks just arent long enough, it was a busy weekend for us.

11.01.2022 Helping out Fencing For Fires today with a donated trip - taking fencing gear out to Cobargo NSW. With all things COVID, its easy to forget the people & properties affected by the 2019/2020 bushfires. Nearly eight months on & many are still without the fencing, sheds and even homes that they lost. Shout out to our driver Andy for captaining this load & to the Fencing For Fires crew for all the amazing ongoing work they do!

10.01.2022 Although the smoke has cleared, the days are cooler and the grass is green; theres still a lot of work being done in the bushfire affected areas (hazardous tree clearing, road repairs, creek crossing repairs etc). Weve been floating some large machinery in and out of these areas and its been great to see parts of the bush recovering really well along the way.

09.01.2022 Hay! Yep its that time of year! Silage and hay season has well and truly started. If you need it moved we can help. Balers, rakes, wrappers, mowers and even the finished product. We can tow with our special implement hitch or float it anywhere you need.

09.01.2022 On Saturdays we restock

08.01.2022 Continuing on from last night’s post, showing our support for Aussie farmers and the machinery dealers that support them. Tonight we feature John Deere.

06.01.2022 A R Wood Contracting is committed to protecting the health & wellbeing of our team, our customers, & their respective families & friends. Whilst were still on the road, we too have been implementing extra health & sanitary precautions for our drivers, to help stop the spread of COVID-19. So as much as a handshake is a culturally ingrained gesture (for us too!), we ask that our customers refrain from offering one for now, as we dont want offend by not reciprocating. We do ho...wever welcome any alternative (and creative ) greetings that meet the physical distancing recommendations. We wish you all well in these daunting & uncertain days & look forward to the return to normality that weve all been waiting for. Til then well keep on trucking as long as we can..

06.01.2022 It was all hands on deck for this move. John Deere 1895, 40 foot air seeder bar. Disassembled to reduce its size for transport. Around 400 kms from central Vic to Southern NSW with oversize pilots, then craned off and reassembled for its new owner.

06.01.2022 The end of 2019 and beginning of 2020 saw us very heavily involved in supporting Forest Fire Management Victoria in the Upper Murray. For us this included floating heavy machinery on and off the fire ground, oversize piloting, heavy machinery support and bulk water tankers for filling fire fighting vehicles and refilling domestic tanks. While only a small part of the devastation across Australia, the Upper Murray has had more than its fair share. In every moment of weakness t...here are always those who show true strength. Forest Fire management Victoria, in particular the local Upper Murray and Tallangatta crews showed absolute professionalism and determination, week after week and its not over yet! An honour to work with them, without their commitment so much more would have been lost! A special mention also to the crew at the Corryong Country Inn & Rileys Restaurant. In a time of complete chaos they gave us comfortable clean beds, showers and warm food while the town was under threat with no power, no phones and limited water. Could not recommend enough for you to call in and spend some time there!! See more

05.01.2022 From the team at A R Wood Contracting we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic new year! We would like to send out a massive thank you to our customers, suppliers, friends, family and followers for all your support in 2019 and we look forward to whats to come in 2020!

04.01.2022 Driver Andy Larsen running a load of donated hay from the Kiewa Valley to the fire devastated Upper Murray. Huge credit to Nikki & Grant Ryder for organising 30+ truck loads

03.01.2022 Australian farmers are the backbone of this country, every night this week we will feature some of the farm equipment we deliver from our local dealers. We are very proud to be a part of the ag industry. Let’s kick it off with Agco.
