24.01.2022 Researchers are deeply immersed in the question of how music learning enhances the brain; they have found plenty of evidence that it does and now they are searc...hing for the mechanism, the answer to why it enhances the brain. This article, released just this week, points to the way music learning may help decode sound with greater accuracy, basically providing better information from which the brain can then make meaning from the sound. The really exciting part is this research may explain the mechanisms that connect music learning with better language processing.

15.01.2022 I have only played in public 4 times in the last 12 months. One Solo Contest (came second), One musical (Eupho was damaged by unsecured sound screen) and two funerals. Maybe I should practice more.
