24.01.2022 Afternoon - new in last week - lots of Callistemons - Grevilleas - Leptospermums - Westringias and Syzygiums. We are getting seedlings this Tuesday and Friday, we did get some more seeds in. Another order of black plastic pots and planter bags arrived and we have heaps of mulch and potting mix. Start your garden today.

24.01.2022 Well surprise, surprise plants have come early this week. So new in today Azaleas, Hydrangea's, more herb, vege and flower seedlings, rosemary included. Leopard trees, beautiful bouganvillea's, ( large growing varieties) all in flower, geranium citrosa, Thuja moranii - great christmas trees. The list continues - more maroon leaf lagerstroemia with red and magenta flowers. a couple of different sedum, and frangipani's. Also more chook and dog food and 3 pallets of terrracotta and ceramic pots. Animals - more budgies, still cockatiels - male canaries and we still have a few point of lay chickens left. We are packed - don't forget to keep the water up to your plants it feels like summer is nearly on us.

23.01.2022 Whats new in today - a couple of varieties of banksia's - assorted grevilleas, melaleucas and baeckea's. Finally some shade or filtered light loving Azaleas the showy plumbago snow cape and the always impressive tassel ferns. Heaps of Tibouchina Jazzies and a small selection of Spathoglottis (ground orchids). Heaps more succulents and sedum varieties. So once again packed full of a huge range of beautiful plants. Open this long week end Saturday, Sunday and Monday 9am until 2pm so come in for a browse.

Seedlings have arrived this morning - tomatoes - lettuce - beetroot - chinese cabbage - sugar loaf cabbage - Pak choi - parsley and a few flower jumbo six cell punnets. We still have heaps of blood oranges - lemons - mandarins and 4 x pummelo. Have a great day

23.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone - new in last week still heaps of vege, herb and flower seedlings. 4 x new varieties of callistemons - Snow Burst, Sweet Burst, Candy burst and Icy burst all growing to about 1 - 1 5metres. Grevilleas have been stocked up and more Lillipillies. Also another great selection of cacti and succulents - assorted hangers are now available string of pearls and hearts ect. The favorite tea maker Lemon Myrtle has finally arrived and the tuckerbush tree Gumbi Gumbi. We have a small selection of water lillies and 1 x lotus. So come in for a browse. Also we have a semi hand reared pinapple conure male 3 years old looking for a home. Have a great day

We are open o...n Friday 24th July from 9am to 2pm even though we dont have a show it is still show day. I did see IGA selling show bags what a great idea for the kids. We still have a huge range of vege, herb and flower seedlings and the fruit tree section is packed. More natives have arrived especially the Grevilleas and Acacias varieties. 20.01.2022 Just in for Mothers Day - 2 year old roses - heaps of flowering orchids and tomorrow the Chrysanthemum's are arriving. Herb, vege and flower seedlings again tomorrow afternoon ( hopefully there will be a good selection) Gift Vouchers are also available. 20.01.2022 Hi everyone what another magic day. Well whats in new last week - EVERYTHING- What a crazy week it was so new in - Aglonemas, Cinnamon trees, Yellow flame of the forrest, beautiful weeping tea trees, Nong nooch vines, Cardinal vines, bamboo orchids, iron cross and rex begonia's , orange beehive gingers, pink penda's and Yellow fraser vine. Heaps of paw paws, more mulberries, blueberries, lychees, mango's, and about five varieties of Aralia's. Once again (it takes awhile) b...ut the amazing Rainbow gum. Also, I know it just keep going - more novelty Tillandsia (air plants) and loose ones, a small range of bonsai plants in small pots. But you have to see the nursey to believe it. Animals heaps as well - 3 x budgies, 1 x hand reared cockatiel, 3 x cockatiels, male and female king and jap quails, hermit crabs, we still have the pineapple conure, and don't forget the 20 tanks of fish. 18.01.2022 Good morning - Whats new in this week - 2 year old roses are back with some amazing colours - we always have a great selection of herb, vege and flower seedlings. Our fruit tree range is extensive and if we don't have it we will try and track it down for you. If you feel its time to start a compost bin or have a worm farm we have it all from small composting bins to large and even tumblers - we stock the can of worms - its very simple to assemble and just think free fertilizer for your whole garden. We have a new range of terracotta, ceramic and plastic pots and some beautiful bonsai pots. So don't sit in front of the TV come and have browse, we are open today until 2pm. What a magic day it is. There is usually 3 things to do on days like this - you are either fishing, gardening or playing golf.

17.01.2022 Afternoon everyone - hope you are somewhere dry, what a day so far. Yes we are open but just at the small wire gate as the large green iron one is stopping some wind from coming through well we think. So trading as normal so if you need food for your animals we have it all. Keep safe

17.01.2022 Morning - I thought the seedlings were coming in on Friday but they were here this morning - a few roma tomatoes - silverbeet - corn - cucumber - rocket - beans - basil - parsley - oregano - dill - carrot - peas. Hopefully more next week. Still heaps of fruit trees to choose from and indoor and outdoor plants. We have stocked up on all animal food. We are trading as normal 8.30am to 5pm week days and 9am to 2pm week ends. Have a wonderful day and enjoy some more rain.

Also the bloodworms arrived today out of the blue so anyone chasing them they are now instock. More gift ideas for Christmas beautiful Nimbin Candles all different varieties. All stocked up on chicken - dog - cat - pig - goat - guinea pig - rat - quails - turkeys - guinea fowl - bird and fish - food. 15.01.2022 Now this is the weather we love. We still have a few tube stock of golden pendas and flame trees available for $6.00 each. Minature roses are available and the beautiful semi thornless - fragrant pink bouganvillea. Our tropical fruit tree section is awesome with lychees - mangoes - durian - breadfruit - marang - sapotes black and white - wampi - coffee - tea - miracle fruit - ginger - ambarella - tropical apples - arrowroot - avocado - blueberries - carambola - cassava - ...cinnamon - curry leaf tree - figs - grumichama - guava - ice cream bean - jakfruit - jaboticaba - kwai muk - macadamia - mamey sapote - malabar chestnut - and the list could go on all day. As I mentioned before the citrus hopefully will be here next Friday. Animal world still heap and heaps of fish - 1 x male and 1 x female jap quail - hermit crabs. New in last week red and yellow paw paws - red passionfruit - portulaca's - minature yesterday, today and tomorrow and variegated variety - some beautiful gardenias - silver allamanda sunee's and the amazing rex begonia's. Animal world we have 2 x cute male mice that need a home. We have some great plants in the $10.00 section that would love to go into the ground especially now we have some good rain. New Frangipani's in as... well some unusual colours and the tropical fruit section is spilling onto the road. We do have some good news, fingers crossed, citrus will be arriving in two weeks YER its been a long wait. 12.01.2022 Good afternoon well we have finally had a delivery of some seeds - vege - herb and flowers, not a big variety but at least we received some. There are some beans, snow peas, sprouts, bok choi, capsicum, eggplant (long purple), kale,lettuce, spinach, squash, gold rush zucchini, Nasturtiums and sunflowers. We are getting another round of seedlings not sure if it will be tomorrow or Friday. Happy gardening.

Heaps of things have been happening ...at As Green As Garden Centre, this Saturday come and join us in celebrating our 15 years trading. We are having a free sausage sizzle and Lara the Clown will be there with balloons and face painting for the kids. It's hard to believe that we have been open for 15 years, it feels only yesterday Michael and I moved our family to this beautiful place. 08.01.2022 Good morning - well what a day yesterday the nursery held up pretty good a few plants to be sorted but came out not to bad - only 1 x pot broken (Michaels fault) lets hope it doen't come back. So I cancelled all plants this week so no seedlings will be coming in just wasn't sure about the cyclone. I have reinstated our fish order as they should get through so plenty of fish by the end of the week. All Searles potting mixes back in stock and trading as normal today so if you need to have some plant therapy come in for a browse. Aaron our worker that comes from Innisfail said the roads are pretty bad so be aware of large pot holes. Have a awesome day.

07.01.2022 Good morning not sure whats going on with my facebook page hopefully once again we (computer guy) have fixed the problem, but we will see. Anyway what do we have in stock , still heaps of flower, herb and vege seedlings, roses are still available and we have lots and lots of potted colour. Animals at the moment we have hand reared budgies, budgies, cockatiels, a semi hand reared pineapple conour, guinea pigs (boys), hermit crabs, 1 x boy jap quail and 4 girls and lots of fish. New plants in lots of natives ( some grevilleas, bottlebrushes, melaleucas, grafted eucalyptus and great range of lillypillies. Stocked up on Black Hawk dog and cat food and the All Fish for dogs treats. The weather is still beautiful. Have a great day hope you will hear from me soon if the problem has been fixed.
