09.01.2022 CHANGING THE NARRATIVE ON AUTISM (A FREE, WORLDWIDE EVENT) Tim Chan Wenn Lawson Yenn Purkis Steve Silberman Hosted by I CAN Founder/CEO Chris Varney... For far too long, the dominant narrative on Autism has been negative, deficits-based and not respectful of Autistic voices. As an Autistic-led organisation that mentors Autistic young people, we are dedicated to helping them develop a positive Autistic identity and driving a rethink of how society views Autism. To close out our upcoming AWETISM 2020 Virtual Expo on 20th November, we are so proud to bring together four close friends of I CAN Network to join Chris Varney in exploring how the narrative around Autism continues to evolve. I CAN Ambassador Tim Chan will open with a keynote address at 7pm AEDT, to be followed by a robust panel discussion and then a live Q&A. Our #AwetismExpo -- a free, all-day event that celebrates the passions, talents and knowledge of Autistic young people -- is open to the public worldwide. Registered participants will be able to take part in any/all events on November 20th and will have access to the Expo content until 20th December. To learn more/register, please see: https://awetism.vfairs.com/

04.01.2022 The way you report employment income is about to change. From Monday 7 December, you’ll report the gross amount you and your partner were paid during your repor...ting period. You’ll be able to find this amount on your payslip. You’ll still report the hours you worked as usual. But if you haven’t been paid during your reporting period, you won’t need to report any paid income, even if you worked some shifts during that period. Your reporting date won’t change, only the way you report your income. Go to our website for more info: www.servicesaustralia.gov.au//way-you-report-your-employme
