12.01.2022 Each year, Cairns Regional Council's Mayor's Christmas Cheer Appeal raises about $70,000 to provides about 700 hampers to local families and senior citizens who... need a helping hand during the festive period. They team up with The Benevolent Society and 22 other local charities to distribute these hampers, and it is expected that this year will see extra demand. Oasis Magazine is so incredibly proud to be teaming up with these other media industry colleagues to help Council deliver this much needed community program: Adhesive Communications, Adllins Media, Cairns Post, CityLife Magazine, Channel Nine, Cre8 Design, GoTransit Media Group, Hit Far North Queensland, Triple M Cairns, PakMag Cairns, Yfilms, Star 102.7 Cairns, WIN News Cairns, and 7NEWS Cairns.
