13.01.2022 Ascent Consulting Engineers was recently engaged to advise a purchaser of a property that had concerns about structural and non-structural items that were not adequately addressed in a Building & Pest Inspection Report. We found the following key items among other things: - poorly supported brickwork - inadequate waterproofing ... - concrete spalling - corroded steel support posts. We provided a balanced report that the purchaser was able to use to successfully and reasonably negotiate with the vendor. Our client had the following to say: "Ascent Engineering were invaluable in their review of our property. They found multiple significant items that the building inspector had omitted from his report.
