14.01.2022 An important update for NSW buyers The Chief Health Officer has issued an exemption that allows farmers and agribusiness workers needing to move between Queensland and New South Wales to perform essential agribusiness services. The exemption is in place until 22 September 2020. This means that buyers and agents are able to travel from NSW to QLD for the purpose of our sale, on Friday 18 September 2020. ... What you'll need to do People arriving in Queensland seeking entry under the farmer and agribusiness worker class exemption will need to provide the following information on arrival at the Queensland border checkpoint - this includes all people who are traveling in the vehicle 1. A copy of the Chief Health Officer class exemption letter (which can be obtained here: https://www.grc.qld.gov.au//border-exemption-for-farming-a) 2. Evidence of identity including place of residence (for example, a rates notice showing that you are a landowner) 3. Your drivers licence 4. Proof of why you want to come to QLD (for example, show a copy of our bull sale catalogue or an email promoting the event) (We are happy to supply you a letter regarding the sale details) 5. Complete a border pass declaration at the border checkpoint (no online option available yet) We have confirmed these requirements with the Goondiwindi Police, Wallangarra Police, Texas Police and the office of Lawrence Springborg. If you are in the border bubble as we are then it’s a matter of completing the online border crossing permit. Please contact us if you have any questions.
